CFT features:
  • Link Fault Signaling (LFS) an industry first, Canary's innovative LFS circuitry provides for rapid switch-to-switch link recovery by indicating lost links on the primary connection path.
  • Switch-selectable MDI/MDI-X configurations for 100BASE-TX ports and for 100 Mbs full/half-duplex auto negotiation or parallel link detection.
  • Full array of diagnostic LEDs to indication unit condition.
 		CFT-206X

The CFT-206X Series of 100BASE-TX-to-FX stand-alone converters overcomes the limitations of operating solely on twisted pair cabling. They link 100 Mbs TX ports to multi-mode and single-mode fiber segments for distances up to 40km.

The CFT series use 110/220 VAC auto-sensing power supplies that can be connected redundantly. Modular card versions of CFT are available for the CCM-1600 and CCN-2000 rack chassis.
