Warranty and Return Policy
Effective February 2003Warranty Policy:
Canary Communications, Inc. (Canary) warrants all Products for the period of FIVE YEARS from the date of purchase from Canary or an authorized Canary reseller. Exceptions are for older 10Mbs Products that carry a warranty of THREE YEARS and wireless products which carry a warranty of ONE YEAR.
Should any Product(s) fail anytime during the warranty period Canary will, at its option, repair or replace them with like Product(s).
This warranty is limited to defects in workmanship and materials and does not cover damage from accident, disaster [lightening strikes, water damage, electrical surges], misuse, abuse, or unauthorized modifications.
Out of Warranty:
A minimum Test and Evaluation Fee of $50.00 will be charged for all out of warranty units returned for evaluation + repair.
Under no circumstances will Canary be liable for any damages incurred by the use of said Product(s). This includes but is not limited to: lost profits, lost savings, and any incidental damages arising from the use of or inability to use the Product(s).
Canary specifically disclaims all other warranties, express or implied, and the installation or use of the Product(s) shall imply acceptance of the above terms.
Return Policy:
Canary Communications, Inc., will accept returned units for up to 10 DAYS after customer receipt of order. No restocking charges will apply.
Canary will EXCHANGE units ordered in error for up to 30 days after customer receipt of order shipment and no restocking charges will apply. Without exchange, a 10% restocking charge will apply.
After 30 DAYS, a restocking charge of 20% of Customer’s current cost will be applied unless an off-setting Purchase Order is placed with Canary.
After 60 DAYS, a restocking charge of 25% of Customer’s current cost will be applied unless an off-setting Purchase Order is placed with Canary.
Canary WILL NOT accept return of any units after 90 days from customer date of purchase.
To return Products, an RMA number must first be assigned by Canary.
When returning Products, include the RMA number along with the Product(s) in the original shipping container (or equivalent) and ship, pre-insured to the address provided by the technical service personnel.
